TLC is a group of 4-Hers between the ages of 11-18.  We get together on the 1st Monday of every month to plan and organize the events that are coming up, such as, The Pizza Social, Share-the-Fun, County Events Day, etc.  It's a good way to develop your leadership skills, yet still have fun and meet new people.  I encourage you to come and join us, your thoughts and comments will help us to "Make the Best Better" in Lake County 4-H.  Amy Grayford, Lake County Vice President and District Historian

----4-H members that are at least 13 in 4-H age may have a workshop at Jr. Congress.  Workshops must tie in to 4-H projects.  This is a good opportunity for those youth that may try for scholarships in the future.  Jr. Congress this year will be January 9-11.  The form is due to the Lake County 4-H office by October 14 before the District Council meeting.

TLC Community Service Committee is helping with a project that is committed to helping abused children from across the County. The Children Advocacy Center is an organization, located in Leesburg, which provides counseling for kids removed from abusive situations. Whenever a child comes to the center they are given a stuffed animal to help them with the healing process. We are planning to help supply these stuffed animals for the center, collection will be throughout the 4-H year. We request that you please donate only NEW items. “Drop Boxes“ will be at all TLC meetings, at all social events, including the upcoming Pizza Social, Share-the-Fun, Christmas Party and other events during the 4-H year or you can drop your item at the 4-H office.
